We have a low system stationed over us in Eau Claire, as well as low systems dominating much of the country. I hope that the Colorado Low does not bring more snow, especially after this warm day. The warmth, which we talked about in class, was due to the Jet stream blowing almost horizontally across the upper US. This allowed the hot dry cT air mass to move up to the trough of the Jet stream. This was evident by Eau Claire having 56 degree highs, and Illinois having 70 degree temperatures. The clouds are almost non existent, but with the predominately low pressures in the area I wouldn't be surprised if we got some kind of precipitation tonight or tomorrow.
