After a week of straight storms we finally have a break. The high pressure systems in the west will be moving our way allowing for more warm and sunny days. Too bad I can't say the same for the eastern part of the country. It looks like a warm front collided into a cold front, and when the warm air was forced upwards the air cooled. Cold air cannot hold as much water as warm air so clouds started to form. Since the front came from the southeast the air would be the moist cT air mass. With lifting like that storms are bound to follow.
