Hopefully this map will explain why we have been getting cold temperatures recently. It looks like the jet stream is dipping pretty low across Wisconsin, just the southern corner is getting some action. The jet stream is blocking the warm, dry air from the cT. Now all we are stuck with is the cold air from Canada aka cP. Hopefully this will die off soon so I will not be freezing all the way over the bridge tomorrow.
